Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was a delightful stay with lovely and comfortable rooms in the courtyard, offering excellent access for our elderly relatives. While the room was a bit hot, the provided electric fan was thoughtful, though too noisy for overnight use. The accommodations were clean and well-equipped, ensuring a pleasant stay.
The hotel rooms were as anticipated, a bit dated and seemed short-staffed at breakfast one day, but the staff were excellent despite being busy. The service was pleasant overall, with some areas needing improvement. The location was ideal for exploring Snowdonia and local beaches, although some seating preferences were noted. The dining experience had some room for improvement but offered a nice selection. The facilities were satisfactory, with minor shortcomings.
The hotel rooms were in good order and more than adequate for our needs. The location was perfect, right in Porthmadog high street, near the beach, and within easy access to Mount Snowdon. The dining was good value, well-cooked, and included exceptional scrambled eggs. However, the room felt claustrophobic and hot, and the breakfast was quite expensive at £10.00 per person.
